BYU men’s basketball associate head coach Will Voigt will take part in the inaugural NABC Flight School presented by Nike on May 21, according to an announcement made on May 20. The event is set to be held at the Nike Phillip H. Knight Campus outside of Portland and is invitation-only.

The NABC Flight School aims to provide professional development for assistant coaches and athletic administrators who are considered rising leaders in college sports. The program will include educational panel discussions, mock interviews, and networking opportunities with head coaches, athletic directors, conference commissioners, and search firm representatives.

NABC Executive Director Craig Robinson said, “Professional development is central to the NABC’s mission, and we’re excited to invest in the careers of this accomplished group of coaches and administrators at NABC Flight School. Our goal for NABC Flight School is to help prepare this next generation of industry leaders to make an impact both on and off the court, and we thank our partners at Nike for collaborating on launching this premium new event.”

Participants were selected after consultations with head coaches, conference offices, search firms, athletic administration associations, and other stakeholders involved in college sports.

During his two years coaching in Provo with BYU men’s basketball team, Voigt has helped achieve a record of 49-22. Last summer he was promoted to associate head coach after helping BYU reach the Sweet 16 for only the third time in program history during the 2025 season. This past season saw BYU finish with a record of 23-12—including a 13-game win streak—and another NCAA Tournament appearance led by standout player AJ Dybantsa.
