Which former Utah County area high school stars will compete on Tuesday, Feb. 3?

Seven BYU Cougars swimmers have been honored with spots on this year’s All-Big 12 teams following strong showings at conference events. Both men’s and women’s team members earned distinctions across multiple events.

Utah Valley freshman Sila Kiplagat was named WAC Track Athlete of the Week after setting a new school record in the 1500-meter race. His achievements highlight a strong season for both himself and his team.

BYU’s women’s track team is preparing for two major meets this weekend across Utah and California. Key athletes like Zoey Bonds, Tia Brown, Kaiah Fisher, Mae Johnson, Sarena Mackley, Berklie Ahlander, Madelynne Taggart, Mikensi Smith, Lia Katoa, Kat Beachler, Lia Pili,and Jayda Lee will represent BYU across various events.
