Utah Valley women’s golf will travel to McKinney, Texas this week to participate in the 2026 Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Golf Championship, scheduled for April 20-22 at The Clubs of Stonebridge Ranch – The Hills Course.

The tournament marks the conclusion of Utah Valley’s 2025-26 campaign and offers the team an opportunity to secure a spot in the NCAA Regional Championships with a conference title. The event features a 54-hole format with one round played each day over three days.

Teams competing alongside Utah Valley include Utah Tech, California Baptist, Tarleton State, Southern Utah, Abilene Christian, and UT Arlington. The course is described as having lush greens and water hazards that require precision off the tee while rewarding strong short game skills. It also boasts 27 holes and a full practice area.

Representing Utah Valley are Chloe Jang, Valentina Zuleta, Maria Ortiz, Pati Uluave, Rylie Rodriguez, and substitute Mia Pace. In their previous outing at the Bobcat Desert Classic in Goodyear, Arizona, Jang led the Wolverines by tying for 30th place with a score of nine-over-par. The team finished twelfth out of thirteen teams.

Throughout the season, Utah Valley achieved several notable results including third place at the Utah Fall Intercollegiate and fourth place at the Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invitational. They also earned a top-10 finish at The Clash at Boulder Creek.
