Utah Valley University was ranked seventh in the nation for the 2026 NCAA Division I Men’s Team Scholar All-America Awards, according to an April 13 announcement by the National Wrestling Coaches Association. The wrestling team achieved a team grade point average of 3.652.

This recognition marks the sixteenth time that Utah Valley’s wrestling program has appeared on the NWCA’s list since becoming fully eligible for Division I competition in the 2008-09 season. The Wolverines have now finished in the Top 10 eleven times, with each appearance at ninth place or higher.

Under second-year head coach Adam Hall, Utah Valley set a program record with nine student-athletes receiving individual NWCA Scholar All-America honors last week. The team also sent five wrestlers to compete at the NCAA Championships this season, which ties for their second highest total ever.

Arizona State earned first place with a team GPA of 3.689, and Missouri took fourth. Alongside Utah Valley, these schools give the Big 12 Conference three teams among this year’s top seven nationally recognized programs.

The continued academic achievements reflect ongoing efforts by both athletes and coaching staff to prioritize performance both on and off the mat.
