Utah Valley will play its second and final Crosstown Clash matchup of the season against the BYU Cougars in Provo on April 6. The game is set for a 6 p.m. MDT first pitch and will be streamed live on ESPN+, with live stats available at GoUVU.com/stats.

The upcoming game is significant as it marks another chapter in the local rivalry between Utah Valley and BYU, offering both teams an opportunity to showcase their talent before heading into key conference matchups.

Last weekend, Utah Valley won two out of three games against UT Arlington, sweeping Friday’s doubleheader with scores of 9-7 and 13-7 before dropping Saturday’s finale, 9-7. Tatum Hall led the Wolverines’ offense last week by going 10-for-14 with two home runs, four doubles, fourteen RBIs, and seven runs scored. Hall recorded thirteen RBIs across three games—the most ever by a player in such a span for Utah Valley—and her offensive numbers led the nation over that period.

Britney Moreno also played a crucial role at the top of the lineup, going 10-for-11 with two doubles, three RBIs, three walks, three stolen bases, and eleven runs scored. Moreno reached base in eleven consecutive plate appearances across Tuesday’s and Friday’s games—currently the longest streak nationally this season based on NCAA data. Bailey Marvin contributed eight hits in twelve at-bats after previously going hitless over seven games; she added a home run and ten RBIs last week.

With thirteen regular-season games remaining, Hall has already posted one of the best offensive seasons by a left-handed batter in program history. Her nine home runs are a single-season record for left-handed hitters since Utah Valley became full-status Division I members in 2010. She is five RBIs away from setting another program record for left-handed batters.

Both Hall (.439) and Moreno (.425) are batting above .400 entering this week—a rare feat since only one other Wolverine has finished above .400 for an entire season since joining Division I: Madison Carr in 2022.

After facing BYU, Utah Valley will travel to Abilene Christian University for a three-game series starting Friday.
