Utah Valley defeats Northern Colorado 14-4; Chipper Beck contributes to win

The Utah Valley Wolverines, featuring former Lone Peak High School standout Chipper Beck, defeated the Northern Colorado Bears 14-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball matchup Sunday, March 8, at 3:05 p.m.

UCCU Ballpark served as the venue for the contest, marking the teams’ fourth meeting of the season. The Wolverines also secured a 12-1 victory over the Bears in their game on Saturday, March 7.

Beck tallied one hit in two at-bats, crossing the plate three times, driving in two runs, walking once, and striking out once.

The Wolverines are set to play the Bears again at UCCU Ballpark on Monday, March 9, with first pitch at 1:05 p.m.
