Utah Valley University announced on Mar. 30 that its upcoming baseball game against the University of Utah has been rescheduled to a 1 p.m. Mountain Time start at UCCU Ballpark, citing expected rain in the Orem area.

The change moves the contest from its original evening slot at 6 p.m., with university officials seeking to avoid possible weather disruptions for players and fans.

This matchup marks the first of three games this season between the Wolverines and the Utes. The remaining two contests are set to take place at Utah’s new home field, Charlie Monfort Field at America First Ballpark.

The decision reflects ongoing efforts by both programs to ensure safety and minimize scheduling complications caused by unpredictable spring weather in Utah County.

Looking ahead, teams and supporters will be monitoring forecasts closely as they prepare for future meetings in what is expected to be a competitive series.
