Utah Valley University announced on Apr. 14 that its upcoming women’s softball doubleheader against Tarleton State has been rescheduled to begin at 2 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time on Friday, with the second game set to start about 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first.

The change was made in response to forecasts predicting inclement weather in Orem, Utah. The university said that Saturday’s series finale will continue as planned at 12 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time and will include Senior Day celebrations before and after the game.

All three games of the weekend series are scheduled to be broadcast live on ESPN+, and fans can follow live statistics at GoUVU.com/stats. Utah Valley also confirmed that admission remains free for all home games this season.

The adjustment aims to ensure player safety and maintain the integrity of scheduled events despite unpredictable spring weather conditions in the region.

Looking ahead, Utah Valley encourages supporters to attend or tune into broadcasts as it honors senior athletes during Saturday’s festivities.
