Utah Tech falls 10-5 to Austin Peay; Mays Madsen posts RBI in Friday matchup

The Utah Tech Trailblazers, with former Lehi High School standout Mays Madsen, dropped a 10-5 decision to the Austin Peay Governors in their NCAA Division I baseball clash on Friday, March 6, at 2:05 p.m.

The contest was held at Bruce Hurst Field and marked the teams’ second meeting of the season. Utah Tech had secured a 15-11 victory over Austin Peay in their prior matchup on Thursday, March 5.

Madsen tallied one hit in five at-bats, recorded one RBI, struck out once and stranded eight runners on base.

The Trailblazers are set to play the Governors again at Bruce Hurst Field on Friday, March 6, at 6:05 p.m.
