Recreation Center Ballot Measure Survey

Survey

City of Saratoga Springs issued the following announcement on June 16.

After completing a recreation center feasibility study and concept plan in February 2022, the City of Saratoga Springs is now considering a potential ballot measure for an indoor/outdoor recreational complex that could include the following amenities:

hot springs-fed leisure pools with views over Utah Lake.

Two (2) indoor pools, including: a) Indoor family/leisure pool, and b) Indoor lap pool.

Indoor gym space with up to three (3) full-sized basketball courts.

Additional indoor recreation amenities such as fitness/weight rooms, an elevated indoor

track (above the gym/court space), climbing wall, and multi-purpose rooms that could be

used for workout classes, community meetings, adult education, etc.

Additional support areas/amenities also include bathrooms, changing rooms, childcare,

concessions stand, office/administrative space, lifeguard stations, storage, and parking.

A conceptual site plan is shown below, for a site that is located just east of Patriot Park and the Police Department, on Saratoga Road.  At this juncture, the City of Saratoga Springs has engaged a 3rd-party, non-biased entity to collect data so that Saratoga Springs officials can make decisions based on the desires of the community. This survey should take approximately 5 minutes to complete. Please click the button below to enter the survey.
