Graduates earn 92 degrees, certificates from Provo College

About 78.3 percent of the 92 degrees and certificates handed out by Provo College in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Provo conferred 28 certificates and 22 associate's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in registered nursing/registered nurse. Data shows the school gave out 21 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse, followed by 18 certificates in medical/clinical assistant and 17 associate's degrees in physical therapy technician/assistant.

The college enrolled 446 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
