Cost of college went up for all students at AmeriTech College-Provo

Tuition and fees rose 12.6 percent for 2018-19 at AmeriTech College-Provo, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Utah students paid $15,609 to attend the private for-profit school this year – $1,744 more than the $13,865 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 80 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 8 students received grants or scholarships totaling $25,429 and 7 students took out student loans totaling more than $13,686.

Including all undergraduates (19), 11 students used grants or scholarships totaling $33,389, and 7 students took out $13,686 in federal student loans.
