Utah Valley University enrolls 39,397 undergrads

At Utah Valley University, 76 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 53 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Orem enrolled 39,931 students in fall 2018, including 39,397 in undergraduate and 534 in graduate programs, data shows. 7.1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

80 percent of undergraduates are residents of Utah, and 17 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (79 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (12 percent).
