On Friday, March 6, the Southern Virginia Knights—with former American Heritage High School star Hannah Van Der Beek on the roster—were defeated 82-47 by the Denison Big Red in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The matchup, which tipped off at 7:30 p.m. inside Livingston Gymnasium, marked the first meeting between the Knights and Denison Big Red in tournament play.
