On Thursday, Feb. 26, former Lone Peak High School standout Shawnee Nordstrom appeared in California Baptist’s 79-72 victory over UT Arlington.
The sophomore guard, listed at 5′6″, recorded 6 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists across 24 minutes of play.
Next up, Nordstrom and California Baptist are scheduled to face Tarleton State on the road Saturday, Feb. 28 at 2 p.m.
Maria Jose ‘MJ’ Barragan ended her season by finishing tied for eleventh place at the NCAA Louisville Regional golf tournament. Head coach Carrie Roberts praised Barragan’s effort throughout both this event and her overall season performances.
The BYU Cougars women’s track and field team will compete at their first-ever Big 12 Championships from May 14-16 in Tucson. Athletes are entered across numerous events with several holding top marks within both school history and current conference standings.
These former Utah County area high school standouts will be competing on Thursday, May 14.
