Former American Fork High School athlete Samantha Smith and her Southern Virginia Knights team were defeated 82-47 by the Denison Big Red in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 6.

The matchup, which tipped off at 7:30 p.m. at Livingston Gymnasium, marked their initial meeting against Denison in this stage of the tournament.
