Paje Rasmussen set a new school record in the women’s 200-meter race with a time of 22.69 seconds at the Robison Invitational, according to an announcement on May 2. The event took place at the Clarence F. Robison Track and Field Complex in Provo, Utah.

Rasmussen’s achievement surpasses the previous school record of 23.10 seconds held by Jaslyn Gardner. She now holds four school records across both indoor and outdoor track this season, reflecting her consistent performance throughout the year.

Her time also ranks as the second-fastest in the Big 12 conference for this season. In addition to Rasmussen’s accomplishment, teammates Kali McEuen and Cambria Hasler recorded personal bests of 23.77 and 23.83 seconds respectively, finishing third and fourth in the race. Mikensi Smith finished fifth with a time of 24.25 seconds.

The results highlight strong performances from BYU Cougars Women’s Track & Field athletes during this stage of their season.

As athletes continue to improve their times and break records, observers will be watching future meets for additional standout performances.
