On Saturday, Feb. 28, Shawnee Nordstrom, who previously played for Lone Peak High School, saw action as California Baptist defeated Tarleton State, 76-67.
The sophomore guard, listed at 5-6, registered 16 points, five rebounds and one assist in her 31 minutes on the floor.
Nordstrom and the Lancers are set to play next against Abilene Christian Wildcats on the road Thursday, March 5 at 4 p.m.
Maria Jose ‘MJ’ Barragan ended her season by finishing tied for eleventh place at the NCAA Louisville Regional golf tournament. Head coach Carrie Roberts praised Barragan’s effort throughout both this event and her overall season performances.
The BYU Cougars women’s track and field team will compete at their first-ever Big 12 Championships from May 14-16 in Tucson. Athletes are entered across numerous events with several holding top marks within both school history and current conference standings.
