The No. 36 BYU women’s tennis team will return to Provo for two important Big 12 matches against No. 73 Kansas State on Thursday, March 26, and No. 25 Oklahoma State on Saturday, March 28.

These upcoming matches are significant as the Cougars look to maintain their strong position in the conference standings during a critical stretch of the regular season.

BYU enters the weekend with a record of 15-4 overall and a conference mark of 4-3, currently riding a four-match winning streak. The team has been undefeated at home this season with a perfect 6-0 record in Provo.

Kansas State arrives with an overall record of 5-8 and is seeking to recover from a four-match losing streak while holding a conference record of 2-5. Despite recent losses, Kansas State remains ranked and is expected to provide tough competition for BYU.

Oklahoma State poses another challenge for the Cougars as they hold an overall record of 8-6 and are near the top of the Big 12 standings at 5-2 in conference play. The Cowgirls have demonstrated strength on the road with three wins out of four away matches this season.

The Cougars’ recent success has been attributed to their ability to remain composed during close contests and deliver consistent performances across both doubles and singles play. As BYU prepares for these matchups, they aim to extend their home winning streak and continue climbing within the Big 12 rankings.
