The No. 24 Brigham Young University men’s golf team will compete in the 57th installment of The Goodwin at Stanford Golf Course from March 26 to March 28, according to a March 25 announcement.

The tournament marks a significant event for the Cougars as they enter fresh off a record-setting performance at the Bridgestone Collegiate Invitational, where they finished with a school record of 54-under par and Kihei Akina secured his second individual title of the season.

This year’s field includes 30 schools, making it the largest group BYU has faced this season. Host Stanford will welcome teams including Colorado, Oregon, Arkansas at Little Rock, Utah, Hawaii at Hilo, San Diego State, Pacific, SMU, Cincinnati, Cal, UCLA, Howard, Northwestern, New Mexico, San Jose State, Colorado State, Grand Canyon University (GCU), Boise State, Santa Clara, Long Beach State, Cal Poly, UC Davis, Washington State, Texas Christian University (TCU), Eastern Michigan, Nevada and Georgia Tech.

BYU’s lineup for The Goodwin remains unchanged from its previous event. Representing the Cougars are Akina along with Tyson Shelley, Simon Kwon, Peter Kim and Angus Klintworth.

The Cougars are scheduled to begin play on Thursday at 2 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time. Fans can follow live scoring on Scoreboard and receive updates through Instagram and X.
