Kali McEuen and Mayci Taylor earned spots on their program’s best list at the Beach Invitational held at Jack Rose Track in Long Beach, Calif., according to an April 18 announcement.
The achievements highlight strong performances by both athletes, reflecting continued success for the team during this outdoor season.
McEuen finished second in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 13.16 seconds, placing her third all-time in program history and marking her second appearance on the outdoor top ten list. Her result also stands as the fifth-fastest performance in the Big 12 Conference this season. Zoey Bonds participated as well, securing third place in the same event.
Taylor improved her ranking from ninth to fourth on the program’s all-time list for the 400-meter hurdles after winning with a time of 57.31 seconds, nearly a full second ahead of other competitors. The relay team composed of McEuen, Taylor, Marianne Barber, and Paje Rasmussen won both the 4x100m relay (44.30 seconds) and tied for first in the 4x400m relay (3:38.45), with Rasmussen anchoring one win and Taylor contributing to both victories.
Rasmussen also matched her personal outdoor best while winning the 200 meters with a time of 23.11 seconds, which ties her for second place on the program’s historical rankings for that event; it is her second victory at that distance this season.
Kaiah Fisher placed third in discus with a throw measuring over fifty-three meters—her fourth top-three finish since transferring from Stanford.
