Jordan Ross, a standout basketball player from Pleasant Grove High School, appeared for the Georgia Bulldogs as they secured a 102-96 win against the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Saturday, March 7.
The junior guard, standing 6′3″, logged 23 minutes on the floor and registered seven points along with three assists.
The No.24 men’s golf team was chosen as a No.4 seed for this year’s NCAA Athens Regional tournament beginning May 18 at University of Georgia Golf Course. Director Todd Miller and player Simon Kwon shared their outlook ahead of competition against top-ranked programs.
These ex-Utah County area high school standouts will participate in competitions on Saturday, May 16.
Utah Valley University’s track and field team won seven medals on day one of the WAC Outdoor Championships. Standout performances included golds from Emily Conlin and Morgan Nokes as well as several athletes advancing to Saturday’s finals.
