Jaxon Pollard, the former Lone Peak High School standout, took the floor for the Samford Bulldogs during their 87-78 win against the UNC Greensboro Spartans on Saturday, Feb. 28.
The 6′7″ graduate forward recorded three points, one rebound and an assist over 15 minutes of play.
The No.24 men’s golf team was chosen as a No.4 seed for this year’s NCAA Athens Regional tournament beginning May 18 at University of Georgia Golf Course. Director Todd Miller and player Simon Kwon shared their outlook ahead of competition against top-ranked programs.
These ex-Utah County area high school standouts will participate in competitions on Saturday, May 16.
Utah Valley University’s track and field team won seven medals on day one of the WAC Outdoor Championships. Standout performances included golds from Emily Conlin and Morgan Nokes as well as several athletes advancing to Saturday’s finals.
