Former Lehi standout Peterson competes in D-III baseball game on March 14

Former Lehi High School standout Tad Peterson and his college team, the Southern Virginia Knights, fell 10-0 in an NCAA Division III baseball contest against the Methodist Monarchs held Saturday, March 14, at 3 p.m.

The matchup took place at Armstrong-Shelley Field and marked their third meeting of the season. The Knights won the earlier game that day, 10-8, over the Monarchs.

Peterson gave up 10 earned runs in three innings and added a walk along with two strikeouts to his stat line.

The Southern Virginia Knights are set to play next on Tuesday, March 17, with a 2 p.m. game against the Roanoke Maroons at Harvey-Dryden Field.
