The BYU Football Alumni Game will be held on Friday, Apr. 1 at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo, Utah as part of the annual BYU Football Alumni Day. The event is free to the public and begins at 6 p.m., with gates opening at 5 p.m.

The game offers fans an opportunity to watch nearly 50 former Cougars take the field again. Teams will be coached by longtime BYU offensive coordinator and assistant coach Norm Chow and national champion quarterback, former assistant coach, and current administrator Robbie Bosco. Chow will lead the Royal squad with quarterbacks John Walsh and Charlie Peterson, while Bosco guides the Navy team led by Steve Clements and Brandon Doman.

The rosters feature players dating back to the 1970s through as recently as 2023, reflecting a program that has ranked in the top ten for most wins in college football over the last five decades. Parking is available for free in nearby south and west lots, with entry limited to Gates 1 (southwest) and 3 (west) due to ongoing construction. All seating will be on the west stands of the stadium.

Fans attending can enjoy food concessions and merchandise from the BYU Store starting at gate opening time. For those unable to attend in person, BYUtv will broadcast a live stream of the game beginning at kickoff, featuring commentary from Spencer Linton, Jarom Jordan, and Blaine Fowler along with interviews involving current players and coaches.

Alumni Day also includes opportunities for all former players and their families to reconnect through various festivities before culminating with Friday’s game. Those who have not yet RSVP’d can request further details through provided channels.
