Emma Openshaw, a former Timpview High School basketball player and member of the Southern Virginia Knights, is headed to compete in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The team will face the Denison Big Red in their first matchup.
Their tournament opener begins Friday, March 6, at 7:30 p.m. in Livingston Gymnasium.
Brigham Young University will host all rounds of the MPSF Men’s Volleyball Championship from April 22-25. Eight teams compete for an NCAA Tournament spot with matches streamed online or televised.

Zoey Bonds earned the sixth-best heptathlon score ever recorded by her program during competition at Cougar Stadium on April 10th at Bryan Clay Multis meet. Both she and teammate Tia Brown achieved several personal records across events.
