BYU third baseman Easton Jones was named to the All-Tournament Team of the 2026 Big 12 Baseball Tournament presented by Allstate, according to a May 24 announcement from the team.

Jones, a senior from American Fork, Utah, completed his final two games for BYU at the tournament in Surprise, Arizona. Over those two games, he went 3-for-6 with two home runs and a triple, drew four walks, led the Cougars with five runs batted in, and scored four runs. His on-base percentage was .700 and he posted a slugging percentage of 1.833.

Jones helped lead No. 9 seed BYU to an 18-8 win over No. 12 seed Texas Tech in seven innings during the opening game of the tournament before BYU lost its second game to No. 8 seed Baylor by a score of 13-9.

The second game marked Jones’ 172nd career start at BYU, tying him for seventeenth all-time at the school. It was also his 183rd appearance as a Cougar, placing him twenty-fourth all-time in that category. During his four-year career from 2023 through 2026 at BYU, Jones hit thirty-three home runs (tied for twenty-sixth most by a Cougar), recorded thirty-eight doubles and five triples, drove in one hundred nineteen runs, and scored one hundred eight times with an overall slugging percentage of .478.

Jones is set to graduate from Brigham Young University in June with a degree in exercise and wellness.
