CSU Pueblo tops Chadron State 4-3 with Lydia Tibbals in the lineup

Former Maple Mountain High School standout Lydia Tibbals contributed as the CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves secured a 4-3 victory over the Chadron State Eagles in their NCAA Division II softball contest on Sunday, Feb. 22, at 1 p.m.

The contest, held at CSC Softball Field, marked their fourth meeting with the Eagles this season. Earlier Sunday, Feb. 22, the ThunderWolves had been defeated by the Eagles 17-6.

Tibbals tallied one hit over four at-bats.

The ThunderWolves are set to play their next matchup against the Black Hills State Yellow Jackets on Saturday, Feb. 28, with a 12 p.m. start at Rawlings Softball Complex.
