Former American Leadership Academy player Mason Farr and the Colorado Mesa Mavericks were defeated 66-99 by the Dallas Baptist Patriots during the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 14.
The matchup, held at Kenneth E. Burg Center at 4 p.m., marked Colorado Mesa’s first tournament game against the Dallas Baptist Patriots.
The No.24 men’s golf team was chosen as a No.4 seed for this year’s NCAA Athens Regional tournament beginning May 18 at University of Georgia Golf Course. Director Todd Miller and player Simon Kwon shared their outlook ahead of competition against top-ranked programs.
These ex-Utah County area high school standouts will participate in competitions on Saturday, May 16.
Utah Valley University’s track and field team won seven medals on day one of the WAC Outdoor Championships. Standout performances included golds from Emily Conlin and Morgan Nokes as well as several athletes advancing to Saturday’s finals.
