BYU women’s golf to compete at Lady Luck Invitational in Las Vegas

BYU women’s golf team is set to compete in the Lady Luck Invitational at Las Vegas Country Club on March 2-3. The event will feature a 14-team field, including host UNLV, New Mexico, Texas State, Baylor, Kent State, Texas Tech, NAU, UTSA, Houston, Nevada, UCF, Oklahoma State and Oregon State.

The Cougars’ lineup includes sophomores Kanyanol (Naji) Aramkul and Ava Schroeder, senior Lily McCauley and juniors Whitney Banz and Maria Jose “MJ” Barragan. The team will begin play in the 72-hole tournament on Monday at 7:30 a.m. MST.

In their most recent outing at the Thunderbird Intercollegiate on February 9-10, BYU finished fifth for the second time this spring season. Maria Jose Barragan achieved her second consecutive top-10 finish of the spring with a tie for eighth place.
