BYU baseball will host Kansas State in a non-conference game at Miller Park on March 31. The Cougars, with a record of 13-13, are set to play the Wildcats, who hold an 18-10 record this season.

This matchup is significant as both teams are currently tied for eighth place in the Big 12 baseball standings, each holding a conference record of 4-5. However, Tuesday’s game will not impact the conference standings since it is designated as a non-conference midweek contest. BYU and Kansas State are not scheduled for a three-game conference series during the current season.

The game marks the sixteenth meeting between BYU and Kansas State in baseball history. The Wildcats lead the overall series with nine wins to BYU’s six, but BYU has won five out of seven games played at Miller Park. Last year in Provo, Kansas State won two out of three games against BYU.

Fans can watch Tuesday’s game live on ESPN+ or listen via the BYU Radio app, BYUradio.org, and locally on 107.9 FM in Utah County.

The Cougars enter this matchup after a successful week that included a win over Utah and two victories against Oklahoma State in Big 12 play. Notable performances included Ryder Robinson going four-for-four with two runs batted in against Utah and dramatic walk-off home runs by Easton Jones and Painter during their series with Oklahoma State.

Looking ahead, following their contest with Kansas State, BYU will travel to Waco for a three-game Big 12 series against Baylor from April 2 through April 4.
