BYU men’s tennis is set to face Idaho State on Saturday at noon at the Indoor Tennis Courts in Provo. The Cougars, currently 8-0 this season, are aiming for a 9-0 start—a milestone they have not reached in the 21st century.

The team recently returned from New England, where they swept their road trip and continued preparations for conference play starting in March. This winter season has been marked by strong singles performances, with BYU winning more than 80% of its solo matches. Adam Chodur has achieved seven consecutive wins, while Tygen Goldammer holds an undefeated 8-0 record. Hardy Owen (5-0) and Caden Hasler (3-0) also remain unbeaten.

Idaho State arrives with a balanced 3-3 record and will play Utah State on Friday before meeting BYU. In their last three matches, the Bengals swept Colorado Mesa twice but were then swept by UNLV in Las Vegas. Historically, BYU leads the series against Idaho State with a 22-5 record and has recorded three straight 6-1 victories over them in recent years.

A livestream covering all four courts will be available one hour before the match begins. Live statistics will also be provided.

The match starts at noon Mountain Standard Time on Saturday at the Indoor Tennis Courts in Provo.
