The BYU football team held a scrimmage-style practice on March 27, concluding its week of training with an afternoon session focused on 11-on-11 drills.
The session lasted about an hour and a half, giving players from the first, second, and third units opportunities to participate in game-like situations. The practice aimed to simulate real-game conditions as part of the team’s spring training schedule.
This event marks one of the final steps in BYU’s spring practice season. The team is scheduled for additional on-field work next week to wrap up its preparations for the upcoming season.
After the scrimmage, defensive coordinator Kelly Poppinga and offensive coordinator Aaron Roderick addressed members of the media. Their interviews provided insights into the team’s progress during spring practices.
The conclusion of these sessions signals that BYU is moving closer to completing its spring football activities as it prepares for future competitions.
