BYU football held a practice session on March 23 as the team moved into the last two weeks of its spring training period.
The final phase of spring practices is important for players and coaches to assess progress and prepare for upcoming competitions. The Cougars have scheduled two more practices this week before wrapping up spring activities with the Alumni Game on April 3.
After Monday’s practice, head coach Kalani Sitake and offensive lineman Andrew Gentry spoke with members of the media. Details from their interviews were made available following the session.
Spring football offers an opportunity for both returning players and new recruits to demonstrate their skills in front of coaches, while also allowing coaching staff to evaluate team dynamics ahead of the regular season.
The conclusion of spring practices will be marked by the annual Alumni Game, providing fans an early look at this year’s roster and potential lineups.
