BYU football began its third week of spring practices on March 10, taking advantage of warm weather for an outdoor session after spending much of the previous week indoors.
The start of the third week marks a key period in the team’s preparation for the upcoming season. Outdoor practices allow players and coaches to work in conditions similar to those they will face during games.
Head coach Kalani Sitake spoke with members of the media following practice, joined by wide receiver Jojo Phillips and defensive lineman Bodie Schoonover. The interviews provided insights into the team’s progress and focus during spring training.
The Cougars’ ability to practice outside is seen as beneficial for both player development and team cohesion. The transition from indoor to outdoor sessions is part of their ongoing efforts to prepare effectively for future competitions.
As spring football continues, BYU will look to build on its momentum and further evaluate player performance ahead of the regular season.
