BYU announced on Mar. 12 that its annual Football Alumni Day will take place on Friday, April 3, culminating with the 2026 Alumni Game at LaVell Edwards Stadium at 6 p.m. Mountain Time.

The event is open to the public with free admission and parking. Gates will open at 5 p.m., allowing fans to enter through gates 1, 5, and 11, with seating available in both the east and west stands. Food concessions and the BYU Store will also be available starting at 5 p.m., offering meals and merchandise for attendees.

The Alumni Game features former BYU football players competing in a Royal vs. Navy matchup. This year, former assistant coach Norm Chow will coach the Royal team while legendary quarterback Robbie Bosco leads the Navy team. The current BYU football team and other alumni not participating in the game are expected to attend as spectators.

Alumni Day is designed to bring together all former players and their families for a day of activities that concludes with the game. Activities include opportunities for alumni to reunite with teammates and coaches, as well as meet Coach Kalani Sitake and his staff.

Those wishing to participate who have not yet RSVP’d can request details through a provided link. The Alumni Game will be broadcast live on BYUtv beginning at 6 p.m., and information about game rules is available online.

The event aims to foster connections among past players while giving fans a chance to see their favorite Cougars return to the field.
