The BYU Cheer Squad won the national title in the Game Day D1A Division at the 2026 National Collegiate Cheer & Dance Championship, according to an announcement on Apr. 16. The event took place from April 9 to April 11 in Daytona Beach, Florida.

This achievement marks a consecutive national championship for the squad, underscoring their continued excellence in collegiate cheerleading competitions.

In addition to securing first place in the Game Day D1A Division, BYU also earned third place in the Advanced Small Co-Ed D1A Division during this year’s championships.

The team shared updates and celebrations from the competition through their official social media accounts, including posts on Instagram by BYU CHEER AND STUNT.

As back-to-back champions, BYU’s performance highlights their ongoing commitment and success within collegiate cheerleading. The results reflect both individual talent and teamwork as they continue to compete at a high level.
