BYU will travel to Morgantown, West Virginia, for a three-game Big 12 baseball series against the Mountaineers beginning March 19 at Kendrick Family Ballpark, following an 18-5 win over Utah Tech. The games are scheduled for Thursday at 4:30 p.m. ET, Friday at 2:00 p.m. ET, and Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET.

The matchup is significant as both teams are tied with a 2-1 record in conference play. West Virginia holds a season record of 13-4, while BYU stands at 9-8 and has won four of its last five games. All three games will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and available on BYUradio.org and the BYU Radio app.

In recent play, BYU has shown strong offensive performance, scoring a total of 59 runs on 69 hits—including 15 home runs—over its last five games. The pitching staff has also contributed by holding opponents to a .276 batting average across those contests.

Historically, the two teams have met six times in Big 12 play, with West Virginia leading the series four games to two. Their most recent meetings saw the Mountaineers winning two out of three games in both the inaugural Big 12 series between the schools in March 2024 and again during their visit to Provo in 2025.

West Virginia enters this weekend’s series after taking two out of three from Baylor and having won five of its last six games. The Mountaineers finished as regular season champions in the Big 12 last year and advanced to the NCAA Baton Rouge Super Regional after winning the Clemson Regional.

Looking ahead, BYU will return home after this series for a non-conference game against Utah on March 24 at America First Ballpark in Salt Lake City before hosting Oklahoma State for another weekend series.
