The Big 12 Conference announced on May 27 the kickoff times and broadcast network designations for the opening weeks and select weeknight football games of the 2026 season, including four games featuring Brigham Young University (BYU).

In partnership with ESPN, FOX, and TNT Sports, the Big 12 revealed more than 50 television selections across both linear and streaming platforms. Among these are BYU’s nonconference matchups against Utah Tech and Colorado State, as well as conference games versus Arizona and Iowa State.

BYU will open its season at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 5 against Utah Tech with a 6 p.m. MDT kickoff on ESPN+. The following week, BYU will host Arizona in its Big 12 opener at Provo for a nationally televised game on FOX starting at 1:30 p.m. MDT. The Cougars’ first road game is scheduled for Sept. 19 against Colorado State in Fort Collins, airing nationally on CBS at 5:30 p.m. MDT. Additionally, BYU’s Friday night contest versus Iowa State is set for Oct. 9 at LaVell Edwards Stadium with an ESPN national telecast beginning at 8:15 p.m. MDT.

The remainder of regular season television selections and game times will be announced later via the conference’s digital platforms or within six or twelve days’ notice before each game. The season concludes with the Big 12 Football Championship at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Friday night, Dec. 4 with a scheduled start time of 7 p.m. CST on ABC.

This marks the second year of the Big 12’s media package that continues partnerships with ESPN and FOX while adding TNT Sports to televise an exclusive slate of football games through an agreement between Warner Bros. Discovery and ESPN.
